2012: Between Critical and Visionary Thinking

Numerous indigenous "prophecies" cited in writings on 2012 are simply not true. Similarly, one finds all manner of statements allegedly supported by NASA, when in fact NASA has spent a good deal of effort refuting such things. Equally, there is dishonesty amongst the writings that seek solely to debunk. What's missing is a balance between visionary and critical thinking.
